The situation on KKK puppy factory is simply beyond belief for many. Dogs and their puppies kept in raised cages with no relief from the wire floor of their cage.
The Mayor stated in his leaked email (see “The story of KKK and the Mayor of Wellington”)to his councillors that the RSPCA “agrees with our position”. That was a lie, the RSPCA were not aware of KKK puppy farm and the caged dogs because Council fail to communicate any cruelty issues to them . The RSPCA obtained a search warrant within a week of my phone call to them, and after their inspection they left with 9 of the unfortunate dogs. KKK continues to fight to stay open, more on that later.
Most of you who have been writing to complain to Wellington Council are either being ignored or are receiving a standard reply. Not so for one complainant who received this reply from Cr Malcolm Hole.

So Cr Malcolm Hole thinks the situation at KKK and other puppy farms in this shire are a joke. So confident is Malcolm Hole that not only did he send this incompetent reply to the complainant but also to the Attorney General Rob Hulls, Minister for Local Government Richard Wynne, Minister for Agriculture Joe Helper, Minister for Finance Tim Holding, Minister for Community Development Peter Batchelor, Peter Ryan Leader of the Nationals, Craig Ingham – Independent and ALP Minister Ken Smith.

Well let’s sit back and see if our State Government Ministers agree that these are acceptable replies from a paid government official shall we.
What do you think of the way the Mayor and Councilor Hole have conducted themselves? Are they competent enough to remain in office? Do you have any hope that puppy farms in this shire will be prosecuted for cruelty and violations to relevant state government legislation?
The dogs at KKK and other puppy farm’s in the Shire of Wellington only have us to speak out for them, our voices need us to be loud and relentless, the dogs are counting on it.
